Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 August 2026

This Policy explains how Souqly collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our marketplace.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, process and deliver orders, connect customers with relevant sellers, send transactional notifications, provide support, calculate marketplace fees, prevent fraud, improve the service and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We share only the information reasonably needed to provide the service. For example, relevant order and delivery details are shared with the sellers fulfilling an order and with delivery or technical service providers. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect users, or during a legitimate business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.

4. Legal grounds

Depending on applicable law, processing is based on performing our contract with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the marketplace, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including support, fraud prevention, accounting and legal requirements. If account deletion is requested, the account is disabled promptly and personal information scheduled for deletion, while limited order records may be retained where legally or operationally required.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and protected authentication credentials. No internet service is completely secure, so users should also protect their devices and passwords.

7. Your choices and rights

You may review or update profile information in the application, manage notifications through device settings, and request account deletion from My Profile. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to receive a portable copy of certain information.

8. Children

Souqly is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to use an online marketplace. If you believe a child has provided personal information without proper authorization, contact support.

9. External services

Souqly may open external communication, map, payment or seller services. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy as the service or law changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the support email or phone number displayed in the Souqly application. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
